Engineering education was made open to the private sector in 1983 and since then private institutes are working hand in hand along with government institutes and industries to cope up with the demand-supply need. Engineering students from every branch of engineering find career-making opportunities in their core disciplines.

Since 1983, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical engineering were glorious options which after years and decades got expanded into instrumentation, electronics, electronics and telecommunication, wireless technology and computer engineering, Information Technology, and so on with the advent of industry and industrial revolutions.

The industry was being revamped with each revolution and the demands of skilled manpower were changing every day.  To cope up with the changing demand the institutes also started changing curriculum to ensure that students acquire the desired skillsets during their professional growth.

The role of institutes in developing the skillsets and providing the right opportunity to students to help them make careers became crucial day by day. Indira Group of Institutes started serving the field of education in 1994 and has observed an excellent track record regarding placements a great connection with the industry.

The Institute has to record thousands of OEM and Service providers as clients that absorb skilled manpower and grow exponentially. The institute has also observed up and downs of the market with the waves in the global market but still the institute has successful tie-ups and has always kept widening the connection with growing years. The IGI as the group has successfully placed students from various disciplines to varied domain industry and service provider clients.

The Indira College of engineering and management also holds a similar track record for placements with more than 500 companies at its hoard ready for absorbing skilled manpower. The last five years’ track records for placements can be seen from the visuals.
