Special Attraction- Staging of a play “Ghost Train” by ISC Acting academy students

ISC hosted its Seventh Convocation ceremony for the pass outs of its graduate program mass communication students batch 2010-12 on January 12, 2013. The chief Guest of the function was Mr. Bhaskar Das, CEO-Zee news along with the popular film actor Jackie Shroff who later joined in to hand over the diplomas to the ISC acting academy students.

Presiding at the function was Dr. Tarita Shankar and few dignitaries from IGI.

Mr. Bhaskar Das guided the passing out graduates to be prepared for the future ahead and to be ready to face the challenges. It indeed reflected the clarity and experience of Mr. Das of the dynamic Industry and its changing scenario.

The convocation ceremony was followed by a play “Ghost Train” where the crew consisted by the ISC Acting students which was thoroughly enjoyed and applauded by the audience. Jackie Shroff could not resist to offer a standing ovation to the performance of the students.

It thrilled the entire environment of the ceremony and was a great stress buster.

Indira Group of Institutes in collaboration with Microsoft would like to extend to you the opportunity to take part in one of the biggest global events happening all around the globe – WOWZAPP 2012, the worldwide Hackathon for Windows.  There will be dozens of event venues from college campuses to Microsoft offices, all buzzing with energy more.

WOWZAPP 2012 is an opportunity for students, developers and designers from all over the world to come together on a single platform and exercise their talent and creativity through designing, building and testing apps and games for the upcoming Windows 8 ecosystem. This will be largest Hackathon of its kind and we are aiming to land this event in the Guinness book of World records as the largest event of its kind.

WOWZAPP is now @ Indira Group of Institutes, Pune where Students have been given 3 weeks to develop their application running on Windows 8. During these three week duration, there will be online sessions and webinars on Windows 8 development to expedite any issues being faced by students in developing their application and to give new developers the basics they need to start developing their own application and be a part of WOWZAPP.  But let’s not wait till you guys have to spread the word.
